Every once in a while a movie hits home with every last thing that makes you laugh, every last once of your humor is pushed to the brink and you laugh. You laugh so hard, you almost pass out, you feel good, you feel faint, and forever you recall… that moment. This happens so rarely, all most never, when it comes to movies.

However, the French hit that sweet and squishy spot with the 1998 “Le Diner de cons”, or English titled, “The Dinner Game” (Netflix).
Remakes always suck, it’s just a fact, yet once in a while, almost never, in movies do they find the right people, people who can make a movie good, even a remake, this time…they did! with, “Dinner for Schmucks”,  starring Steve Carell, Zach Galifianakis, and Jeff Dunham as the Schmucks. It will not be like the original, it won’t be a copy. It will be good, the trailer had me laughing so hard.

So, here is what you need to do. Rent “The Dinner Game”, then go see “Dinner for Schmucks”. I promise you, “The Dinner Game” will leave you laughing like nothing else… and if it doesn’t, then *shrug* at least you watched it.
