The Elusive Excogitation

A Florida pastor’s plan to burn Qurans at his church on Sept. 11 ignited a protest today by hundreds of Afghans, who burned American flags and shouted “Death to America,” and drew a comment from the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan that the preacher could be increasing the threat to his troops.

This kinda pisses me off. Unlike the Muslim world, we have some rights, like the freedom to burn a book, or not burn a book. We are free to say what we want and to live the way we want (as long as we are still with in the law). So, Muslims want to be all pissed off? let them be pissed off. Because if there whining and violence makes my freedom of speech, action and thought become hindered… Then that would only prove this kind of thought to be correct.
It’s to bad they do not embrace a stance of tolerance, instead they pelt US troops, they scream and yell… makes you wonder why they act the way that these radical right wing republican christian capitalists want them to. Instead they should be saying, “Those Americans burning the (not naming that book here) are morons, and the (not naming deity either) shall make them burn in (insert whatever they think is right, is it hell? Iran? who knows.)
But, really they ought to know there actions are being judged by a nation that burns there own flag, and calls it a right, and it is. Can’ win against a nation that is far morally, politically and religiously corrupt as America… Sodom and Gamora would have been 2nd class to us.
Don’t get me wrong, If I was there in Florida, I would chuck a bible onto the fire. Why not? it’s just paper and words, to anyone that doesn’t care.
